My next book, Letters to a Part Time Barmaid, will be centred on the collection of letters described in the article that appeared in the Gravesend Messenger of 16th September 2010.


I am interested to learn more about Peggy Cockrill, Maurice Nash and Gravesend during WWII and the post war years up until 1957. I am also seeking memories from people who worked in the licensed and building trades during that period.
